Our History

In 1884, John Bean set out to solve a problem. The result was a truly innovative industry-creating solution – the continuous spray pump – to battle the devastating San Jose scale affecting California’s orchards. This development set in motion the evolution of the JBT we know today, a company where problem solving, and innovation remain the cornerstone of what we do.
